I am a researcher with expertise in the Social Determinants of Health with a focus on economic and social factors as drivers of cardiovascular risk factors. My research program is designed to support healthy aging and redress heart health inequities in women. I am also a person with lived experience as both a family member of a mother who had fatal MI and a renal transplant patient now at high risk of CVD.
