I am a registered nurse (RN, BScN) with diverse clinical experience, including travel nursing, acute inpatient care, and community practice. I currently work on an acute inpatient unit
specializing in cardiology and renal disease while also serving as a pediatric visiting nurse in the community. I am pursuing graduate-level coursework in evidence-based practice while preparing to enter a Nurse Practitioner program with a focus on women’s health and cardiology.
My dedication to cardiovascular health is both professional and personal. With a family history of heart disease, including an aunt who has been directly affected, I carry a deep awareness of the importance of advocacy, prevention, and research. I hold various certifications in pediatrics, cardiology, and mental health, and I am dedicated to expanding my expertise through ongoing education, research, and professional development.
Through the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance, I look forward to sharing my nursing perspective, collaborating with leaders in the field, and contributing to initiatives that enhance
awareness, advocacy, and outcomes for women across Canada.
