My name is Tanishapreet Kaur Jassal and as a registered cardiovascular technologist and a member of the South Asian community, I have always had an interest in learning more about the heart. With a passion for promoting heart health, I would like to dedicate myself to advocating for women’s well-being through education and awareness. My career involves using modern technology to help diagnose heart conditions. Belonging to a community where heart disease often goes undetected or unaddressed, especially among women, fuels my commitment to change this narrative. I would like to empower women with the knowledge and tools to prioritize their cardiovascular health. By becoming a member of CWHHA I aim to make a meaningful impact on the health and lives of women in the South Asian community.
