I have been living with heart failure for 9-plus years. My HF is a result of cancer treatments when I was 24. I was diagnosed with Chemotherapy-Induced Cardiomyopathy at age 44.
I am passionate about equality in women’s heart health and supporting women living with or at risk of heart disease/heart failure. I built a support community online when I could not find the support I needed. This has evolved into monthly Her Heart Hangouts (in person).
We also have a LIFE IN HEARTS website where there are free tools: awareness, education, risk assessment, and a bi-monthly e-magazine. Reach out anytime.
