I received my Doctor of Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology residency from the University of Guadalajara, In Mexico. I also completed a fellowship at Autonomous University of Mexico on cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention. I practiced in different public hospitals in my home country providing service in the hospitalization area, consultation, emergency and rehabilitation.

I focused my practice on cardiac rehabilitation in a private Clinic as head of the program. I teach in a University to medicine students and always try to teach to my students to practice avoiding bias and discrimination when attending woman, especially in the cardiac setting, and in my practice I always advocate with my colleagues for the importance of prevent heart disease in women and also to rehabilitee them.

Now I dream on get involved in the Canadian health care system and be able to contribute with my skills and knowledge to prevent heart disease and rehabilitate those who has suffer heart disease.
