Dr. Thais Coutinho is a cardiologist in the Division of Preventive Cardiology at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota.
Originally from Brazil, she earned her MD from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and completed advanced training in internal medicine, cardiology, vascular medicine and echocardiography at Mayo Clinic.
Her research and clinical focus include arterial health, vascular aging, and women’s cardiovascular disease.
She is also active in leadership and advocacy, including roles within the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance.
