Biography

I have over ten years of diverse nursing experience in acute care settings, including medicine, post-anesthesia care, cardiology, and critical care. My experience is primarily focused on cardiology, and I worked in the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute from 2015 to 2023. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009, and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa in2023. Currently, I am a Nurse Educator at the Ottawa Hospital. I am passionate about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, particularly in relation to women's heart health, ethnicity, and global health. I have been actively involved in initiatives aimed at cardiac disease prevention and health promotion, driven by the desire to improve care for cardiac patients.
